Jude the Dog needs a home
Meet Jude! Jude is a sweet, loving, snuggly boy. He LOVES his people! He loves kids, and has been gentle with the smaller children he's met a couple of times. He is house trained, and good with most other dogs once he knows them, though he does get a little excited when he first meets them though so a slow introduction is best. He is very respectful of the bossy older female he is living with, and has been very good with foster puppies and smaller dogs.
Jude is a couch potato most of the time, and content to snuggle with his people, but he is also very agile and playful, he loves to leap off the back deck (never mind the 3 steps lol) and race around the fenced yard. He does have to be kept in a fence or on a leash/ tie out, as once he starts running he does not want to stop. He would be good for an active family or one that is not, as he adapts well to either scenario as long as he gets a little exercise each day. He is currently accustomed to having a dog door and large fenced yard (4' chain length), which he does great with. Jude is very quiet, and only barks to alert. He does not like to be crated if nobody is home, or left outside, but when left loose in the house he usually does well (as long as he has something to chew on). He can escape most crates if left alone, but is usually good once he's out.
Jude is NOT good with cats, and will not be placed in a home that has them.
